About Our Church

bam_logo_2007Born Again Ministries (BAM) was established in May 2005.  On May 1, Pastor Scott met with the "Core of 10" to establish the ministry and to share the vision and the mission of BAM.  Those in attendance believed that it was the divine will of God for them to be a part of the ministry.

On Mother's Day, May 8, 2005, BAM held its first service at the Riverfront Convention Center in New Bern, NC.  Each service from that point on grew immensely as people came from all walks of life to embrace the good news of Jesus Christ.

September, 2005, BAM moved its location from the Riverfront Convention Center to 1725 Red Robin Lane, its current location.  Within one year, the church membership had grown from 10 to more than 200.  This resulted in the church moving from one service to two services on Sunday.  Since that time, BAM has added an overflow room for both Sunday Services to accomodate the rapid growth.

BAM is a ministry that reaches all people, regardless of race, past affiliation, economic status, age, or other valuing differences.  The Word of God is taught uncompromisingly and with practicality encouraging all to live a life that is pleasing unto the Lord, Jesus Christ.  BAM is an experience worth living and sharing!
