Ronald Scott is the Senior Pastor of Born Again Ministries (affectionately known as BAM). God gave him the vision for the church while still serving our country as a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army. During his 23 years of service, he received numerous awards and decorations. Prior to his retiring as a Master Sergeant in May 2005, Pastor Scott acknowledged the calling and the assignment which God had predestined for his life.

Pastor Scott is known by his members and others in the community as a “True Man of God”. He walks in integrity; he is of godly character, and a man who shows love towards people. He operates with the heart of God and the spirit of a warrior choosing to do the will of God in spite of whomever and whatever. 

Most recently, he was presented the Lighthouse Award for his service to the community through the various outreach programs established within the church.  He also serves the community through various non-profit organizations. 

Pastor Scott is a native of New Bern, NC. He and his wife Angela,  as a blended family have two sons and three daughters -- Kennetta, KieVonne, Ceno, Krystal, and Kenny; three sons-in-love, Thomas, Jamel and LaRonte; two daughters-in-love, Markisha and Tonia;  and seven  grandchildren.
